Attention: The instructions are only for sign-ins without Microsoft 365.
In this help article, we describe how to successfully go through the registration process in tegolySIGN. Afterwards you are known as a user and have to log in as usual “only” with your email address and password for later registrations.
That’s why the first step is whether you want to log in with your Microsoft company account or register with your email address.
1.) You are certainly familiar with the registration of your Microsoft company account and will not be explained in more detail here. It works exactly as you already know it when you want to sign up for your Microsoft services.
2.) If you want to register tegolySIGN with a different e-mail address in the future, then you have to register first. To do this, click on the button below ‘Register with e-mail address’ and a new window will open.
Please enter your first and last name, enter your e-mail address and set a password. Please note that all fields must be filled in.
The password must consist of at least 8 characters, and you must use at least one number and one capital letter. Example: 1Example#
Then go to “Continue”.
After you have clicked on “Continue”, you will receive an email with a 6-digit code immediately afterwards. This is needed to see if you really have access to the email address you provided. After you have entered the correct code, you will immediately be redirected to your onboarding page.
The code is only valid for 10 minutes. If you want to use it later than 10 minutes, you will get an error message. In this case, you will need to request a new code. To do this, please click on “Back to sign-in” and request a new code.
On this page, the onboarding page, ALL fields must also be filled in. Then click on the button “Start trial subscription”. This will start the 21-day free trial period. This expires automatically after 21 days, without any further obligations.
Once you have entered all the data, you will receive the API key in the last step, which you need to connect to DATEV. It is best to save this in a text file.
