Step-by-step instructions (system house)

In this guide, we describe in detail what we believe is the best way to install tegolySIGN together with the DATEVConnctor.

Please adhere to the installation order given here.

We have divided the guide into several sections. Only when one section is done, please move on to the next one. Often, we refer to a different installation page in this guide. This will open in a new tab.

Once you have completed the installation of the corresponding page, please come back to this page and proceed to the next step.

Here’s a quick rundown of each section:

API Key #

A power user in the firm’s tenant who has also assigned a Microsoft 365 Office license can read the required API key. This is required for further installation.

Now the tegolySIGN Teams app has to be approved. This can only be done by an administrator of the tenant who also has the rights to work in the Teams admin center.

Now the following two DATEV components need to be installed:

DATEVconnect (item no. 95280)
DATEVconnect Document Management (Art.-No. 63218)
