No, it only needs a web browser.
Does the signer need Microsoft Teams? #
No.
Can I use a signature pad (like signotec’s)? #
No, this is not supported by our software. But with any device, such as a smartphone or tablet.
How many advanced electronic signatures (FES) are included per user? #
10 pieces per user per month. From the 11th FES onwards, each additional costs 0.50€.
Why does the qualified electronic signature cost €7.50? #
Identification via eID or Video-Ident or Selfie-Ident is already included here.
Can e-mail servers other than Exchange Online be connected? #
No, at the moment only Exchange Online email servers can be connected.
What happens to file types that don’t conform to PDF format? #
All common Microsoft Office file types, as well as JPEG and PNG files can be converted. These are automatically converted into PDF/A format by tegolySIGN. Even PDF files that do not correspond to the PDF/A format are automatically converted before the signing process. This is important, otherwise no legal certainty can be guaranteed.
Can signed documents be printed? #
Yes, but then the signature is invalid. You can only see on the document that it has been signed. The digital document with the digital signature must be kept. The signature is valid for 10 years.
How can the tenant sign in the meeting room? #
The client can sign on his mobile phone simply with a click. It is not possible to connect signature pads.
Is there a role management system? #
Anyone with a valid license from tegolySIGN will see their own documents (for legal reasons).
Is there a client portal with login (similar to a folder in Teams)? #
The idea of web login is on our radar, but it will take time.
Is it possible to sign on a document with different signature levels? #
This is not planned, as it makes little sense. All parties should always sign in the same way.
Which M365 version is required? #
An M365 Basic license is required to operate tegolySIGN. At DATEV, however, an M365 Business Premium is required (due to DATEV).
What happens to the documents that are stored on the tegoly server? #
These remain there until the customer deletes them. At rest, the data is encrypted. The data can always be retrieved from us. but we undertake not to do so in the AVV (Order Data Processing Agreement).
Is there the possibility of 2-factor authentication on the client side? #
Only via the FES with the SMS PIN.
